Nile Flores

Nile Flores is a long time WordPress designer and Developer. While she grew up a military brat, she’s settled in the St. Louis metro east region. Nile blogs at Blondish.net, where she covers topics on WordPress, Blogging, SEO, Social Media, and Web Design. Nile also works as an Infection Cleanup Specialist at WP Fix It.

She also loves contributing to WordPress, and that includes speaking at WordCamps across the United States. She loves helping people and supporting Open Source projects.

Nile founded and runs a 9,000+ member Facebook group dedicated to helping WordPressers, called All About WordPress. When Nile isn’t knee deep in coding and design, she’s spending time with her son, who is also a WordPress user.

Matt Christensen

Currently working at a fortune 1000 company in Marketing dealing with analytics. In this role, I deal with various software tools and analytics platforms. I also still develop software with remaining free time as well as consult on analytics and marketing for clients. I have been using WordPress since 2004 when I needed a platform for my personal site/blog. Ever since I look to use WordPress wherever I can.

Along with marketing and analytics, I also develop code. Starting a freemium plugin that should be launched this year.

Before marketing and analytics, I enjoyed a career of several years developing plugins and themes commercially.

Chris Heine

Chris Heine of Ideas + Logic is a multi-talented marketing professional. After a stint working in start-up companies, Chris developed the desire to bring the same kind of marketing thinking and creativity that entrepreneurial companies have to small and medium sized businesses. In essence, she is like the “marketing manager” for small and medium-sized businesses, providing strategic guidance, creative ideas, branding insight, messaging and marketing automation.

Brian Anderson

A 1985 Computer Science grad from Bradley University, Brian started developing barcode software for a Caterpillar supplier in 1987. Brian joined Cat in 1988 as a support engineer. He worked in several divisions of the company, including Electronic Tools, Self-guided Vehicles, Service Information Systems, Logistics, and Manufacturing Research.

Toward the end of his 25 year career, he took ownership of Caterpillar’s barcode manufacturing specification and participated in several projects to improve auto-identification technology use at Cat.

Since his retirement, he has been active on Stack Overflow, providing help to developers around the world with barcode-related problems and has created several barcode related utilities.

Mark Dubois

Mark DuBois is the Executive Director of Web Professionals. Mark assumed this role in 2016. Web Professionals is over 20 years old and focuses on both practicing and aspiring professionals. We offer certification, education, and community. We are a member supported not for profit.

Mark is a retired professor who has been working with web technologies for over 25 years. He created the first accredited degree in web systems in the world. He created the first accredited certificate in rich Internet application development. As a professor, he created over 21 classes (16 week semester long) on many aspects of web design, development, and server administration.

Mark served as the co-chair of the education task force of the Web Standards project. He has spoken internationally on many aspects of web design and development (including giving a full day seminar on best practices at the 17th International WWW conference in Beijing).

He runs a national web design and development competition (held every June in Louisville) under the auspices of SkillsUSA. Mark has also helped with WorldSkills web design competitions in Sao Paulo (2015) and Abu Dhabi (2017). He has personally supervised and been involved in over 35 state, national, and international web design competitions.

Keanan Koppenhaver

Keanan Koppenhaver is CTO at Alpha Particle, a digital consultancy that helps plan and execute digital projects that serve anywhere from a few users a month to a few hundred thousand. He enjoys helping clients build out their digital strategy, make more efficient use of technology and scale up their developer teams. He believes that more technology isn’t always the answer, but when it is, it’s important to get it right.

 

David Needham

David Needham is a Developer Advocate at Pantheon where he focuses on developer education and training. David serves on the board of directors of Enjoy Creativity. David enjoys blogging about productivity at davidneedham.me and sharing his experience by speaking at conferences. David is based out of Champaign IL, enjoys biking with his wife and kids, and playing board games.
